Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Mens Sana Health Inc. · Last updated: September 19, 2026

need cares for you. And caring starts with honesty. need is a wellness and emotional self-care companion — here to listen, help you reflect, and offer evidence-informed self-care exercises. What it is not is just as important. Please read this carefully.

1. need is not therapy, medicine, or clinical care

need does not provide medical advice, psychological counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or mental health condition. Nothing in need — conversations, exercises, modules, or reports — is medical advice. No therapeutic, doctor–patient, or clinician–client relationship is ever created between you and need or Mens Sana Health Inc.

2. You are talking with artificial intelligence

Conversations in need are generated by an artificial intelligence system, not by a human being. AI responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific situation, no matter how natural they feel. No healthcare professional reviews your conversations. Use your own judgment, and when in doubt, talk to a qualified professional.

3. need is not a medical device

need has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ANVISA (Brazil), or any other health authority. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition.

4. Never replace — or delay — professional care because of need

Never disregard professional medical or psychological advice, and never delay seeking it, because of something you read or experienced in need. If you are experiencing persistent sadness, anxiety, trauma symptoms, or any condition that affects your daily life, please seek a licensed mental health professional. need works best alongside professional care, never instead of it.

5. Medication is between you and your clinician

Never start, stop, or change any medication based on anything in need. Only a licensed prescriber can make those decisions with you.

6. need is not for emergencies

need is not a crisis or suicide-prevention service and cannot call for help on your behalf. If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or in any emergency:

  • Call your local emergency number (Brazil: 192/190 · US & Canada: 911 · EU: 112).
  • Brazil: CVV — 188 (24h, free). US: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
  • Or use the crisis button in need — it shows help lines for your country and your personal emergency contacts, always one tap away.

7. For adults

need is intended for people aged 18 or older. Under-18s may use need only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

8. Your responsibility

By using need you confirm that you understand and accept everything above, and that you use need as a wellness tool — by your own choice and at your own discretion.

We built need with deep respect for your pain and your journey. Part of that respect is telling you, clearly, where need ends and professional care begins.

O need funciona melhor junto do cuidado profissional, nunca no lugar dele.
